If you can believe it, Ethan and I will be home for good in two weekends! We have survived! Lots has happened since the last post, but here's the bulleted breakdown.
- My mom and I are taking a class, the History of Architecture and Interior Design, at BYU together. This is my mom's first college class ever and she is doing terrific. I'm so proud of her spouting all the answers off in class and studying every night. My momma's one smart lady!
- We took Ethan's 1 year pictures. He was adorable and they only had to take 7 pictures to get 6 good shots. Here's my favorite three.
- Uncle Scott and Aunt Anne came out to visit and we had so much fun. On the 4th of July the Beans got together at a park up the canyon in Bountiful. It was beautiful and I introduced Ethan to a little creek for the first time.
- Ethan is getting more teeth! His left canine has broken through and his right is expected to any minute. It looks like the molars behind them are starting to swell and drop down as well. We'll wait and see what happens.
- Ethan walks! One day he just took a step and then started running. It's so cute and I think it makes him more and more fun every day.
- Ethan has taken to wearing my headbands. If I have one in my hair, he pulls it out, excitedly yells, "Hat!" puts it on his head and runs away. Think I'm making it up? Observe exhibits A and B.

Finally, I have to give major public kudos to my honey for making it through this summer with me. Not once has he complained about our situation and he's been nothing but 100% supportive. On top of that, he's still handling his full-time job, school and driving to see us on the weekends. What a guy!
